1. Have fun. This is your day to spend on the ocean experiencing nature at it's best.
2. NO BANANAS on the boat. (LOL)
3. A $300.00 deposit is required to confirm this charter and must be received at least 10 days prior to the
charter date. If the deposit is not received by the due date, the charter will be canceled.
If the charter group does not show up on the agreed date and time or does not cancel the
charter by phone, Email, or rescheduled by phone at least 10 days prior to the departure date, then
all monies will be forfeited.
4. No personal checks accepted on the day of sailing, cash only. Balance of trip fee to be settled
prior to sailing, separate of gratuity.
5. Every effort will be made to contact the charter party if the captain cancels the trip due to weather,
mechanical issues or other circumstances. The charter party's deposit may be put towards another
day, or refunded.
6. The charter operates under the authority of the Captain. The Captain has the authority to terminate
the trip in the event of unacceptable conduct by the charter party without refund.
7. No illegal substances or drugs are allowed on board. I have a ZERO TOLERANCE DRUG
POLICY. Even though marijuana may be legal where you live, it is still prohibited on board by the
Coast Guard.
8. A trip terminated due to a member(s) of the charter party getting ill will not be entitled to a
refund or credit.
9. The charter includes proper use of the boat and equipment, all tackle, bait/lures, and ice.
10. The captain and Hooked on a Feeling Charters are not responsible for any injuries sustained when fishing aboard the vessel. The sport of fishing has inherent risks which must be considered when undertaking a trip, and all injuries or loss to persons/gear are the sole responsibility of the individual or group.
11. The charter party is responsible for loss or damage to equipment belonging to the boat that must
be replaced in kind or paying for replacement(s) as determined by the captain. The charter
party is responsible for damage to the boat outside of normal wear and tear. The charter company
will not be liable for any personal fishing gear you bring aboard.
12. Please be advised that it is customary to tip the captain or mate for good service generally 20% of the total charter price. We work hard to insure your safety, comfort and enjoyment, please treat us as you would your favorite server at a good restaurant.
13. There are NO guarantees concerning how many or what type of fish your party will catch. I
guarantee that all equipment is in proper repair, and I will do everything possible to give you and
your party a great day on the water. Remember that the sport is fishing, not catching. There are
days when I catch more fish than other days and there are many conditions that govern catching
success.
14. I prohibit any hard liquor on the boat. Beer and other beverages may be brought aboard in cans
or plastic only. No glass. In the event that members of your charter party become intoxicated to
the point that the captain determines that they create a hazard to themselves or others, the
charter will be terminated without refund and the boat will return to port.

Billing and Trip Information
Trip Duration
Trips run 4 or 6 hours.

Cost and Charges
4 Hour Trip: $600
6 Hour Trip: $800
*There may be a 4% fuel surcharge depending on cost of fuel.
Departure Times
Charters depart between 6am to 7am, or afternoons.
Capacity
Our vessel, Lady Karen, can accommodate up to 4 fishermen.
4 Hour Trip Destination
The 4 Hour trip's destination is in between the areas of Block Island and our port of Galilee, RI. There you can fish for species such as, Fluke, Sea Bass, Scup, Bluefish, Stripers, and when in season, False Albacore and Bonito.
The ride to these fishing ground is approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
6 Hour Trip Destination
The 6 Hour trip's destination, weather permiting, will be to the South or West side of Block Island. There you can fish for Fluke, Sea Bass, Scup, Bluefish, and Stripers.
The wind farm is clearly visible and fishable under the right conditions. We can occasionally see Dolphin and Whales on the 35 minute run to the Island.
Deposits & Payments
A $300 deposit is required for each trip with the remainder due at the boat the day of the charter.
Payments can be made by cash only.
Captain Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation by the Captain for weather related or other circumstances, the deposit can be put towards another mutual charter date or refunded.
If the customer cancels the trip or fails to show up 1 Hour past scheduled departure time, deposit may be forfeited.
